What do we do?

We provide information and advice in order to help you to find suitable volunteering opportunities.

What information do we collect about you?

We collect the information that you provide on your registration form or when you  register on our website.   We put this information onto an Access Data Base which is kept on our server.  We up-date the Access Data base when you find a suitable opportunity

Why do we collect information?

We do this so that we can keep in touch with you, provide support to you and report on our project to our funders.

How do we store the information we collect?

We store your registration and referral form’s in a locked draw within the volunteer centre.

Electronic information is kept on our server. We ensure that all our data is stored securely.

Only staff with good reason to do so have access to your personal data.

Who do we share it with?

We share summary, anonymous information with our funder, City of Wolverhampton Council, for reporting purposes.

We share your data with organisations you have chosen to apply to for volunteering or, if necessary, to support you.

How long to we keep your information

We keep any hard copies of your information for up to 2 years

We delete your details from our website after 2 years

We keep your personal records on our Access Database for 3 years after you have received a service from us

How can you access or correct the information we hold about you?

You have the right to see your information, amend it, or have it removed.  This is outlined in our WVCA Data Protection Policy which will be provided on request by ringing 01902 773761 or emailing info@wolverhamptonvsc.org.uk.
