
Canal Towpath Task Force Volunteer
| Opportunity: Canal Towpath Task Force Volunteer Towpath volunteers who help us make Wolverhampton Canals welcoming spaces for boaters, towpath users and wildlife alike. From planting native wildflowers to pulling tyres and shopping trollies out of the water, to conserving heritage structures, our team are not afraid to get their hands (although we do supply gloves, wipes and gel)! There will also be plenty of opportunities to join us on workboats, tacking waterborne litter and offside vegetation. The existing team meets on a Monday, but we are looking for more people to work on either day (including weekends if we can recruit a lead volunteer for this role) | |
| Requirements: Moderate fitness levels. There will be an induction and a short online training session which can be done with us or can be done at home | |

| Hours: Flexible: 1 or more half days, many of our volunteers turn up regularly every week but we welcome people when ever they are available | |
