Studio & Community Support Volunteer

Opportunity: Studio and Community Support Volunteer Beatsabar Music Project is offering exciting volunteer opportunities for individuals who are passionate about music, creativity and supporting young people. As a studio and Community support volunteer you will play an important part in the day to day running of our studio and outreach work. • Helping to keep the studio clean and welcoming, preparing materials and equipment for music workshops • Assisting the team during sessions by answering and supporting participants • Engaging with public in city centre handing out flyers and raising awareness about our work Training will be provided.
Requirements: Some interest in music, young people, music technology.
Location: Unit 12 Wolverhampton Arts Centre, Dunkley Street, WV1 4AN and City Centre
Hours: Flexible minimum 4 hours per week Monday-Saturday
Expenses: Travel expenses may be covered
DBS: Yes

This is a great opportunity to gain hands on experience in a creative environment, build valuable skills in youth engagement and event support and contribute to a project that transforms lives through lives through music.

Opportunity: Photographer/Videographer Do you have a passion for capturing photos and videos? Seeking a creative and enthusiastic volunteer photographer/videographer to join our team. Responsibilities: Capture high quality photos and video at events, program and activities. Edit and enhance photos and video for use on social media, website and promotional. Collaborate with team to ensure visual content aligns with our brand and messages.

General Volunteer

Opportunity : General Volunteer Small Wonders is a stay and Play Group 0-4 age group where we have created a supportive community of parents and carers. We need people to help in many areas: • On the door: Welcoming people and monitoring the door. • Desk: taking the register, entering details into laptop. • Café: serving hot and cold drinks, fresh fruit and homemade cakes, loading dish washer, preparing fruit etc. • Messy Room: running the messy room, resetting, cleaning up helping children. • Singing Time: brief time when we do singing involves using a microphone, leading song time (we have the song words etc.) • Chatting to parents • Playing with children: helping parents/carers who have multiple children.
Requirements: Friendly and chatty approachable. We invite you to come in and see what we do, we show you around and show you different roles that are available.
Location: Life spring Centre 34 Clifton Street, Chapel Ash, Wolverhampton ,WV3 0QT
Hours: Thursdays 12-3pm to set everything up. Fridays 9:15-11:45 or 12:15-2:45pm Friday all day 9:15-2:45 Pack away 2:30 -3:45 pm
Expenses: Yes, Travel expenses only eg day bus savers (not taxis)
DBS: Yes, apart from Café Volunteer. Our Small Wonders will cover cost
